The kitchen is efficiently equipped with cookware and kitchen utensils, making meal prep straightforward. I particularly appreciated the electric kettle for my morning tea-an essential as I'm a big fan of warm brews. On brisk days, the heating kept the place warmly inviting, while the small outdoor sitting area offers a quaint spot to unwind when the weather permits. The free Wi-Fi worked seamlessly, making it easy for me to keep up with work. Its location, just inside the old city walls and opposite a cathedral, is excellent for those looking to explore nearby cafes and historical sites. The hosts displayed a commendable level of hospitality, promptly addressing all my queries and clearly taking pride in their property. This cottage strikes a fair balance between value and comfort, making it a suitable choice for a Derry getaway. Would recommend it for anyone looking for a homely atmosphere during their travels.
